PreMed Club

“PreMed club is a student organization for those interested in a career in medicine. Students receive the information they need to be competitive applicants through an open-source Spaces site, guest speakers, trips to healthcare facilities, club meetings, and other opportunities as they become available.”

Pre-Physician Assistant Club

“The Pre-PA Club is open to all students! Though the club has a focus on the PA career, students interested in entering a health profession of any kind are strongly encouraged to join. Throughout the semester students will attend meetings, panels and individual speakers intended to help them better understand the application process, prerequisites and the career as a whole.”

The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC)

“The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of families in the developing world through the implementation of innovative and self-sustainable health improvement programs.

FIMRC: Lafayette will work to promote FIMRC’s three pillars: fundraising, volunteering, and advocating for public health issues. Throughout the year various fundraisers and events will be held that correspond to these pillars. There is also the opportunity to go on a volunteer trip through FIMRC with other club members.”

The Promotion of Animal Welfare (PAW)

Lafayette Emergency Medical Services Club (Laf EMS)

“Our organization is perfect for students interested in health professions or just want to give back to their communities. It is a good resource for information on local EMS organizations as well.”

Pre-Dental Society

“The purpose of this society is to organize Lafayette college students interested in the field of dentistry, providing information to these students about opportunities in the field of dentistry, the application process for dental schools, networking with dental alumni, as well as participating in service related to dental charitable organizations or causes.
The Lafayette Pre-Dental Society also serves as the primary holder of the ASDA Lehigh Valley chapter. The Lehigh Valley chapter is a joint chapter between the Lafayette, Lehigh, and Muhlenberg colleges. The purpose of this joint chapter is unify pre-dental students in these institutions and provide support, networking opportunities, and resources to aid in their interest in the dental profession.”
