Lafayette College Health Profession Clubs
As part of your Lafayette experience, you have an opportunity to join a group of students who like you aspire to enter a career in health professions.
For the current article listing of Health Professions student clubs, please see below.
“PreMed club is a student organization for those interested in a career in medicine. Students receive the information they need to be competitive applicants through an open-source Spaces site, guest speakers, trips to healthcare facilities, club meetings, and other opportunities as they become available.”
“The Pre-PA Club is open to all students! Though the club has a focus on the PA career, students interested in entering a health profession of any kind are strongly encouraged to join. Throughout the semester students will attend meetings, panels and individual speakers intended to help them better understand the application process, prerequisites and the career as a whole.”
“The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of families in the developing world through the implementation of innovative and self-sustainable health improvement programs.
FIMRC: Lafayette will work to promote FIMRC’s three pillars: fundraising, volunteering, and advocating for public health issues. Throughout the year various fundraisers and events will be held that correspond to these pillars. There is also the opportunity to go on a volunteer trip through FIMRC with other club members.”
“Over the winter break, we will be traveling to Huancayo, Peru, and information on that trip can be found here: https://www.fimrc.org/peru/volunteer/huancayo.”
Contact: Kelly Tarcza (email@example.com) if interested in joining this club.
